Moto Guzzi announced a new special edition Stelvio Duecento Tributo in celebration of the 200-year history of its namesake, the famed Stelvio Pass.

The Pass, which opened to traffic in 1825, sits 2,758 meters (9,048 feet) above sea level in the Eastern Alps in Northern Italy, close to the Swiss border. The Stelvio Pass is a popular destination for riders tempted by its 88 hairpin turns.

To celebrate its 200th anniversary, Moto Guzzi unveiled the Stelvio Duecento Tributo. Limited to a production run of just 2,758 units, (yay metric!) the Stelvio Duecento Tributo features a bright snow white, blue and red color scheme that looks an awful lot like the Aprilia Tuareg 660. Besides having access to the same paint suppliers as its Piaggio family cousin, Moto Guzzi says it picked the colors because of how popular they are in mountain excursion gear.

Similarities to the Aprilia aside, the red, white and blue combo is a good look for most bikes (the Honda Africa Twin and BMW R 1300 GS Trophy say hello). The Duecento Tributo’s graphics include patterns recognizing the Stelvio Pass’ many turns, and the radiator shrouds feature its geographical coordinates.

Beyond the special color scheme, the Stelvio Duecento Tributo boasts front and rear radar sensors, which support the Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Information System, and Lane Change Assist functions. It is also outfitted with heated grips, heated seats, a center stand, a tire pressure sensor, a bi-directional quickshifter, and Moto Guzzi’s MIA infotainment system.

I would buy another new Guzzi however I am afraid of their lousy choice of electrics namely their dash’s from DigiTek. at 1400.00, they use to be 770.00 until all the failures happened, of course always out of warranty for most.

Either PIAGGIO or Guzzi fouled up be using this company since their dash’s on the Griso were junk even on the dealership floor they were bad. Did not work. My reason why I will not buy a Guzzi again.
